2019 v60cc
Hi all,
Would anyone know the location of the fuel filter on a 2019 D4 V60 cross country? My mechanic is doing 2nd service this coming Sat and it will be helpful if I have this info. Thanks in advance. |

Under the right rear seat area on the underside of the car behind a flap ... I think I would find someone who knows the car . are you sure he is going to use the unique volvo specification oil ? I would guarantee you will have oil level messages coming up a day or so after his service .. You wont get the free software updates which are still coming in fast for your 2019 car ..

I have purchased the volvo oem parts with correct 5w20 oil. The fuel filter probably doesn't need changed but I decided to do (Oil/filter, fuel filter, pollen, rear brake pads). Not using a dealer won't affect the warranty and he has maintained my 2014 XC70 D5 from new which has now passed 100k miles and is still going great! From experience, I will be scheduling a gearbox oil change at 36k with haldex oil +filter gauze clean at that time. I don't think these items are checked by the main dealer? Another small item that may go unchecked is the cleaning of the MAP sensor which tends to clog up over time. Thanks again, Steve Last edited by sellxc70; Feb 22nd, 2021 at 12:07. |

or another brand of which there are a few now conforming to ... volvo VCC RBS0-2AE 0W-20 don't use the incorrect 5w grade.. the oil system pressure and flow is complex and controlled by the Engine ecu .. the fuel filter should be changed every other service ... No the haldex is only checked for leaks on the service and the level checked if it is showing a leak .. There is no scheduled maintenance listed .. Good Luck 👍

Hi Clan,
Thanks, I will recheck the oil spec, I did note that it is different to the 5w/30 used in my XC. All the service parts were purchased from an authorised dealer using my reg... I'll recheck and update. Regards, Steve |

Hi Clan, my mistake on both counts....what was I thinking!
Confirmed 0w20 for the V60 and 0w30 for the xc70 have been delivered. Thanks for the input/knowledge. Cheers Steve On a side note, I have a small tech issue you may also be able to comment on....XC70, has an oily film on the outside of the intake pipe just before it connects to the turbo....any ideas? |

I plan to remove this and seal with blue gasket to see if it cures the problem. I'll report back results in a week or so. Litres, fluid ounzes or quart....I don't mind Steve |
