Brake System Failure & Imobiliser Error

The recovery company were great to be honest, as attempting to load the Volvo onto their vehicle in a very busy car park, at 3pm was no easy task.
Firstly he placed heavy duty plastic skids under the locked rear wheels (using a lump hammer) & connected the winch & literally pulled the Volvo a couple of metres & then onto onto the lowered ramp, raised the ramp & then secured the motor on board with locking straps... job done & took all of 10 minutes or so.

This was not by the way, undertaken by the breakdown motoring organisations sub-contracting recovery company, who I'd been waiting for on site since 7.30am. They were apparently unable to carry out the recovery, due to the site conditions etc.... therefore in desperation I had to resort to finding a local company to do the job.... we live & learn & I'll try & remember to upload a video of the recovery at some point, as I'm sure it will prove useful to all.
