Volvo card - automatically sent?
Hi all,
Just had the bus serviced today at the dealer under the 2.0 Service scheme / promise, which includes a years membership to the Volvo Card and Breakdown Assistance. Does the card automatically come in the post once HQ have processed the service info.....? ^^^Thats what the dealer said, but to be honest I have trouble believing its as easy as all that. Anyone with recent experience care to comment? Thanks

The only downside is that it expires on the exact anniversary of the day of last service, it would be better if you had a week or two's grace. Minor gripe though for what is a very good deal. |

This is true. Just a way to get you to service on time, to save them constantly phoning you about it !

Thankfully the vast majority of Volvo dealers don't do that. Johnsons of Oxford are the only exception I've encountered, and are duly blacklisted in my books as a result of incessant nuisance phone calls.

Yup, it all arrives a week or two after the service.

Yes you will receive automatically but can take up to a month. However details are exactly the same so my understanding is you don't really need the card if you have one (unless your first?) and they rely on the dealer system.
I've never used the service and wonder who they use etc? If you want to check call the Volvo assistance number? |

It is valid from date of service and the details are on the Volvo system.
I would call the number and check its valid and you can relax until the card arrives. The expiry date is 1 year from service. |
