VIDA 2011D Installation issues!!! Plus other bits
I'm trying to install a copy of VIDA 2011D that my mate bought off ebay.
I'm running a laptop with Windows XP Pro, Celeron 1.8ghz processor, 60gb free HDD space and 2GB of RAM. The install passes the system checks and goes right through to installing VIDA itself. When I try to install the VIDA All in one setup it installs the security and the DiCE system, but when the installation says it is complete it comes up with VIDA NOT OK. I've tried all sorts to install it but it won't get past that point. I've read somewhere that there should be a file in the DVD disc somewhere called VIDACERT, but this isn't on my CD. Can anyone help me out, I've tried a few of the fixes people have put on the forums but I'm still struggling!!! Also is the DiCE system alone used for the diagnostics side of things? And also, what kind of cable would I need to hook the car up to the laptop for the diagnostics check using DiCE?? Can I just use the OBDII to USB or does it have to be a proper DiCE interface cable? Thanks!!!! |
