Heatshield fixings
When removing the largest heatshield at the back of the engine bay to access the rack boots I sheared two of the pathetic bolts used.
I will glue it back onto the insulation but has any one any ideas our experience on how to replace the fixings? Would self tapping screws suffice and if so what is directly being the large heatshield as I don''t want to drill through any cables etc. Thanks

Well I'm going to try epoxy resin glue on the broken suds to the heat shield an Alfa forum suggested this as it has a higher heat capacity.
