It was breezy, thankfully the rain held off and the when the sun came out it warmed considerably towards the end of the afternoon. Only two 740
saloons (mine included), not a bad turnout of 700s/900s, later cars outnumbered early ones - some nice cars in long term ownership too.

The 200s far outnumbered all others as far as I could tell, some nice 100s, and Amazons too.

with regards to the location of BKV's I appreciated that for some Rutland Water is somewhat off the beaten track.
For 2015 it was necessary to move the venue as we had been to Hatton Country world for 3 of the previous 4 years and I was unable to get Thorseby at the time we wanted it. We are always looking for new venues but there are cost implications.
I can say that for 2016 we are booked to go to Thorseby Hall last visited in 2012. 23rd June til 27th June
We have a new venue planned for 2017. This is the 50th anniversary of the BKV. The first in 1967 was in Oxfordshire. Getting as close as I can we are booked for Stratford race course. I cannot confirm the dates as it is race card dependant. In 2018 we are back at Hatton Country which will be a break of 4 years. the dates being 28th June through to 2nd July.
We could then consider re turning to Rutland Water for 2019.
I appreciate that Stratford and Hatton are not miles apart but then neither are Thorseby/Rutland. Certainly the feed back I have had is Rutland was a good venue.
