Hi folks I would love to hear some of your feedback on our issue .We bought this xc90 t8 2 years ago second hand and it has been a great jeep with no issues until now .My wife was driving it and an error came up to stop driving immediately which she did and we had it towed to our Volvo garage . They said it was the head gasket and as the top block was pitted that it looked like it had already been repaired but hard to tell .I dont quite understand this and some of you will have a better idea but the skimmed plate is too thin to risk repairing and probably best to have new engine . Volvo have offered to pay 1/3 rd of the cost .I'm just not sure ,should they offer to pay full amount or is this the norm . Any info or insight offered would be greatly appreciated . Jimmy
