Default CD Player Issues

The other week I attempted to install a Parrot Hand Free system into my car. To do this I needed to removed my Floating Dash and stereo.

Once I had removed the stereo, I found out I had the wrong lead etc, so I could not install the parrot. Due to this I have had to put the car back to gather.

Once I have put the Stereo back together, the CD player stated No CD loaded or Disk Error. (Before I removed the stereo I had some CD in the player).

I have re-removed the player, left it out for an hours or so and put it back in, checked all the leads are in, but it still does not work.

I can hear the CD player doing things, but it does not get any further than the Error messages.

Does anyone know what I can do to resolve this issue?

Thanks

Hi.
My multichanger in my V50 2005 had deck error. It also made a noise as though it was trying to change discs. As you know it's easy to remove.
All I can tell you is that it had to be repaired. I sent it to Marcel in Ipswich, £300 ish, very good service and turn around.
Avoid the dealers!
I was told it is a common problem.
Could something have dislodged in it?
