door seal ,

The door seal on drivers door is ripped ( 2005 s40 ) ( the seal that goes round the opening of the car on car body ,not on the door ,) my door froze shut and when i opened it part of the seal ripped as was stuck stuck to the door, now i can hear road noise when driving ,, does anyone know where ill get a new or used one as i imagine the dealer will want a fortune ???

I was looking during the summer - a previous owner seems to have had a problem getting in and out the car!!!

Unfortunately I got nowhere find a cheap replacement. Fortunately for me, I've managed a tidy job of sticking it back together.

Mine's the same, but just bought the car from Volvo, so I'll expect them to replace it.

Make sure you spray with silicone spray, as Lidl sell occasionally when they sell auto products.
In interim you could try some furniture polish.
