I have managed to get the Vida/DICE to work on the Windows 7 Enterprise version and IE 8. It now communicates with the car but it appears that certain Functions are not readable.

I had the SRS light on and it has the error code SRS -0137 : Right SIPS. I am not able to reset the code, so it appears that the SRS module is gone.

I will give the SIPS connector a clean (with battery removed) and then see if this resolves, else I am in the market for a SRS module.

If anyone is near Wycombe happy to test the Vida/DICE to read any errors.

Unless if you are getting the SRS0001 code, your SRS module is fine.

Try unplugging and plugging a few times the SIPS connector under the seat and try resetting the SRS light again.

Also try turning the ignition off and then turning back on before you send the command from VIDA/DICE.

I tried disconnecting the battery and wriggling the connectors under the drivers seat. Hasen't worked.

I also tried the update after switching off a number of times.

It seems that the ViDA/Dice does not communicate with the SRS module hence my assumption that it is at fault.

Will give it another go over the weekend and let you know.

Had an old laptop for minimal use, vida wouldn't fit
Bought another laptop vida fit, bought dice communicated with laptop but not with car
Spoke with two car diagnostic guys, said it wouldn't work, sent one dice back got lost lost more money bought another didn't communicate with car spoke with another car software guy said it wouldn't work who then tried it on car didn't work

So this rubbish went on for so many months and into well over a year or two that I'm more mentally scarred
but I think almost ready for another go
What do you think about this one

http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Genuine-V...item1e9a1d4135

I might rush over tomorrow and get it.

No really, I wouldn't mind trying one of those old 2000 things with vadis
I've got vadis as well, but now that I've got another Volvo I'm seriously considering running the gauntlet
and trying my luck again with vida
Any seller suggestions??
Thanks

Then I can come back and edit all my posts.
Oh yeah, to what extent are these things supposed to, to what extent does yours work
