Yes gaz you were right I'm happy with them only thing I don't like so much is the fact they don't remain gold due to brake dust but I like them and they have transformed the car. The multi spoke suit the volvo. So do arcadia's though but overpriced I.m.o

Thanks dude , when I was up at matts I said to him how I like youre s40, I think Gary's s40 started off as fairly basic aswell he's done a lot on his looks good also you can do them for not much money buying bits off here and ebay.

One of my led sidelight bulbs fell out inside the headlight while replacing it grrrrr it can wait for a while I didn't fancy taking the headlight out today. Broody pain in the rear

The Wheeler Dealers reckon the best way to smarten up your car is to get the wheels powder coated with a re-spray and also a complete car body re-spray... though that's a big cost. Some think a sunroof adds appeal too. Also, make sure both fog lights to the rear work - remove the plastic blank plate in the rear light cluster to put another bulb in. Add a front splitter if you can find one. Otherwise, clean the carpets and polish it with really good wax - hard work but worth it because it will shine and give a few more MPG as it glides through the air

Surprised nobody's said it already, but colour coding the black bumper/door trims has to be the that makes it look 'most' modern. The egg crate grill, head lights, side markers and good wheels do vastly improve the car though.

My V40 was colour coded from the factory, guess this is a rare option as I've note seen another and didn't know they did it until I saw mine when I brought it, does look more modern.
It already has a splitter and the rear spoiler gets fitted tomorrow. Egg crate grille is on the list too.
