I have one of these but the last car I tried it on ended up totally flat. Might be the panel, could be that the car didn't get enough sunlight.

Also got one of these

Which definitely works albeit with the benefit of a south facing aspect.
I got one of these for the Ka...

I made the trusses with raised ties, so there was extra space inside the roof, if a tailgate was opened upward.

It does keep the elements off the car and it is great in the winter mornings, when everyone else is deicing their windows and I just drive off!

Well, if you didn't have to bother with tailgates there's room for another family above a ceiling.

It's not a joke to me, a mate's got a heap of property over there and
i'm going to build a shack on a far corner.
We've been talking about going over to see what sort of fixing we can do
both builders, but there are no materials and the first stuff should go to the Ni-Vans

I bought one of those first off but I found it couldn't keep up with the rate of drain on the battery. In a south facing window I guess it will probably slow the rate the battery goes flat but not keep it fully charged (unless there is no drain at all).

What with our variable weather and the fact that its dark on average half of the day I felt I needed some reserve capacity. 5watt is okay, 10w may be too much (without a charge controller).
