Default Pedal rubbers

Right as I have an mot comming up soon mine have worn out, what point does it become a problem/fail, where can I get new ones and are road legal pedal covers which I can't find on ebay that easy are they okay, if anyone browses ebay regularly and can upload a set of aftermarket metal pedal covers that will get me through a mot with no issues then please put the link up . It's a long term soloution I think those.

Default Pedal Rubbers

My lads 1994 Celica failed MOT due to not having any pedal rubbers on and no chance of getting any only solution was going to fit the "boy racer"ally ones you see in Halfords then I found a piece of ribbed rubber matting in my garage made templates then used time bond glue, they look really good and it passed MOT!!..........just a thought for yours.

I seem to go through pedal rubbers at a rate of knots - I don't ride the clutch, honest! - but I just get news ones at the local Volvo dealers.
