Default bleeding brakes

hi all, am about to replace the discs pads and brake hoses on my 99 v40 2.0t

does anyone know how much brake fluid the system holds as i ideally want to bleed out all the old fluid as i change over to new stuff.

i cant seem to find the amount in the haynes manual

also does anyone know what sized flared spanners ill need to change over the the brake flexi hoses.

any help appreciated guys n gals

In my owners manual, it says the brake and clutch system fluid is approx. 0.4 litres.
I think off memory I've used a 14mm spanner, but check first.

Hard to say how much you will need as you will waste some when you bleed them. But it's not normally expensive & i would have thought that a 1 litre bottle should be enough ?

It is less than 500ml I just kept topping up and pumping the brakes until it ran out of the bleed nipples clear.
