Default New Volvo Dealer Sheffield

Bristol Street Motors (Volvo) in Sheffield have closed down, the new official dealer is Stoneacre.

Anyone had dealings with this firm good or bad and how Volvo are savvy are they?

Stoneacre seem to have expanded rapidly taking on franchises including the likes of Aston Martin. Like any dealership you'll probably have good and bad experiences. Stoneacre were very good with me in Lincoln last month, though I couldn't afford the price they quoted to fix my car

Not used them, but notice they're in a different location as well. Hope the parking is better than at Brizzle Motors, as it was terrible there with a V70...

According to an ex member of staff, the new location is temporary (and looks it!) whilst Stoneacre build a new Volvo showroom rearby.

What's your opinion of the Lincoln Dealer please? I'm sort of mid way between Lincoln and Sheffield (Retford) and in need of a 2nd fob for my (2013)V60 (Recent purchase that only came with one).

I've bought a couple of parts from them with no issues and had a diagnostic done on my car's interior blower fan last month - I was expecting to pay a diagnostic fee equivalent to an hour's labour but they didn't charge, also re-bonded a section of loose windscreen trim again for no charge. I couldn't afford their price to replace the fan (£1300), but they were sympathetic, willing to do the job (unlike most other garages I tried) and I felt looked after. I haven't used them for
servicing so far, though will see what their quote is when the time comes around.

Just make sure you speak to someone at the branch to book it in, as like most dealers their head office seem to pick up calls when the branch is busy - there was a mix up when I had to rearrange the diagnostic booking and someone still came to collect my car on the original date.

If you are talking about the dealership in Chesterfield they seem like very nice people, the sales anyway. I've never visited them but bought a car from them a couple of days ago and it's being delivered tomorrow.
I'll report back when I see the car

If you are in Retford then what about Riverside in Doncaster? They are a very small chain and I have always found them head and shoulders above any other main dealer I have ever used.

I used Stoneacre Grimsby and found them (and their call centre) frankly awful.
