1800: - Tyre Pressures

My 1966 P1800 has 165 R80 15 tyres. The service manual says pressure should be 1.8 kg/sq. cm front and 2.0 kg/sq.cm back. I have assumed that this is Bar and converted this to 26 PSI at the front and 28 PSI at the rear.

These pressures look too low to me and was wondering about increasing them...what pressures do other owners run?

30psi all tyres mate

As above: 30 psi here too. At 26 psi the steering was very heavy at parking speeds.

I run 30 psi on the Amazon Estate and it feels fine, very neutral. I have the older wheels with the large valve holes and currently have tubes fitted. These all tend to use a few pounds over a month or so, all different, and need checking regularly to keep the steering feeling good. I have the larger tubeless valves to fit and will probably get them changed to get rid of the tubes over the winter. That should stabilise the pressures.
