Default V70 clutch pedal clicking

clicking noise from pedal area when clutch is even slightly depressed/released. It seems to coincide with a metal/plastic linkage to far right of pedal assembly - perhaps the plastic bearing is worn?

would this be a simple thing to replace? awkward to get at!

Looks like a single 10mm screw and a bit of fettling with the position sensor, with a bit of contortionism involved. I'd also reseat that relay whilst you're in there.
