Default Passenger Seat Belt warning on a 98 V70

I'm trying to find out whether a 98 V70 has a warning for when the front passenger is not wearing a seat belt, can anyone help? If it does is it just a light in the dash or is there an audible warning as well? I seem to recall it was a light in the dash but can anyone that has a V70 confirm it either way? Thanks.

When you plug the buckle in it operates a switch in the fixed part. It only does this on the drivers so the warnings go out.

On mine with the ignition on there's two little flashing red lights by the interior light above the screen until the driver puts their seatbelt on, the flashing is controlled by the same unit as the hazard lights so there's a clicking from the hazards switch in the bottom of the centre dash. Passengers have no effect on the lights so it must be up to the driver to say 'Oi, have you put your seat belt on?'.

Makes sense, otherwise you'd have flashing light when driving solo
