Default Ordered S90 R Design

Hi people,

first ever post so be gentle haha.

Completed an order for the New S90 R Design on a 2 year lease deal.
The only option we took out were the front sensors. We were initially going to go for the 360 camera but were told that we had to have BIS added to it. So just opted for the front sensors.

Test drove it and thought it was a really nice drive. Changing from an A6 S Line.

We ordered it on the 1st of October, initially told that we will get it in December but haven't been allocated a build slot. In the past whenever we have ordered from Audi they give us a build slot fairly quickly. Just worried that it wont be here for December

The only negative on the car was the boot height and that when you put the seats down the middle seat belt isnt built into the seat but the shelf, apart from that splendid

S90 lead times are difficult to predict at the moment for various reasons (Built in China, Transported by Rail being the main ones) and last I heard the Train line they were coming in on was damaged, although we've had a few trickle through recently, so maybe this is sorted.

Worth finding out when the vehicle is due to be built as this will give a pretty good indication of when its likely to make it to the UK.

Kind Regards

Marc

Hi! I’m in exactly the same position, also wanted 360 cameras but couldn’t justify cost on a 2 year lease so went front sensors. Only other thing was black paint thrown in, I ordered in August, was told it was “locked in” (no changes) mid September but delivery December 20th! So I guess they’re planned to be built and shipped in same batch! I’ll try and get an update to see if it’s still on target soon...
