Does the mark on the exhaust sprocket line up correctly, and are there 19 teeth between the two marks? See here for better description of what I mean.

Is that cam not pre-loaded with a spring? When you took the belt off did the cam rotate back itself? If it did, you need to pre-load/tension it when you put the new belt on.

If you look at the clamping screw for the vernier pulley you will see it has moved , someone has been there before you ...
So , Either they used the correct special tools and what you have is correct ( as long as the bottom mark is exact ) so you need to add your own mark right now .
OR someone has messed it up and your can timing is not correct , I would assume the latter , In which case explain all this to your dealer and let them set up the cam timing correctly with the special tools and then they make a fresh mark if they can't get the original line to line up .

I have count teeth . There is 18 between marks. When I have changed cambelt kit I also swap the CVT pulley for new. When I done that I have used properly clamps on rear camshafts and blocked them correctly. Also have rotated CVT pulley to right side. But since I done that engine does not sound as 5 cylinders and isn't powerful, only sometimes. There is no errors code and vacuum around 18inch steady.
So if between marks should be 19 teeth ,probably is something wrong.

Yes , best to set it all up again , but you have to use the crankshaft stop tool through the hole in the block behind the starter motor , lining the marks up by eye isn't perfect .
When all the tools are locked in place make sure the cambelt is tensioned and tightened first , then tighten the variable pulley bolts and make new marks on the top pulleys before taking the tools out .

I've done that without crankshaft blocked, to be honest. I will do again on Monday.

The Datum for the cam pulley marks are the two slots in the plastic cover , the number of teeth is irrelevant ...
