Default Pilot Assist - Start after auto Stop

Hi, My XC90 [17 Plate, D5 Momentum PP]came from recall update/fix yesterday. This morning, I used Pilot Assist as I usually do on M25. With bumper to bumper traffic, it would come to complete stop; however, when the car at the front moved (upto 10ft), car did not start and moved fwd. Is there a setting I may need to alter? Garage did say that they had to batter reset(?). Ta!

If stopped for more than 3 seconds Pilot Assist (or ACC) needs a prod on the accelerator or the resume button to start moving again.

What he said. I have never had mine resume after anything longer than the briefest of stops.

Or press the resume button on the L/H steering wheel pad.

If you press the accelerator or resume button within 3 seconds of stopping your car will resume moving as long as the vehicle in front moves within 6 seconds.

The pilot assist icon changes from light grey to dark grey after the vehicle has been stationary for the allotted time, indicating that manual intervention to restart is required
