  • VOC Members: There is no login facility using your VOC membership number or the details from page 3 of the club magazine. You need to register in the normal way

I have the ryobi cordless jobby. I know that ryobi are at the cheaper end but it hasn't let me down yet, and tackles very stubborn bolts/nuts. Quoted at 400nm
Also has a very handy 3 power settings.
The battery fits all their other diy tools too (like most brands have started doing now) so you can stock up on other gadgets

I have the desalt with 1000Nm of torque and 1600Nm of break out torque. I use it all the time:

Don’t bother with cheap stuff, get the best, register on line for the extended warranty and enjoy it.

corded machine mart for the really high torque stuff
dewalt dcf887...technically its a drill/driver but with 6mm adapters can be used with impact sockets. Its awesome light as a feather very controllable for low torque stuff (brake nipples)but can do some big stuff too (wheel bolts) i love it.
