Finally found 850r bumper! Breaking 850r found

After months of searching I found a mint condition 850r front bumper. These things are silly rare. I was about to buy the snapped one in Holland.

There is a breaker in Norwich (advertising an 850r engine on ebay currently). The car was involved in a full roll over so every panel is bent. Engine looks great condition. It has 86k miles and auto box.

If anyone is interested bits left are all engine and compartment (i have taken the brake slave cylinder as looked brand new and header tank as also looked brand new). Most of the inside front is still there.

How much was the bumper out of interest.
Curious as he's asking stupid money for that engine.

£250 for bumper which I didn’t think was too bad. I was about to buy the broken one from holland for €220.

I looked round the engine. The car was obviously well looked after lots of new parts but also the clamp hoses and hoses for coolant all looked virtually new compared to mine which looked dated. So I could believe the miles. It must have had a hell of an accident though such a shame.

You can get a new R bumper from dealer easy!

I asked af my local dealer and theh sourced me one from.germany for 275 new

Heh I took your advice from another post mike and contacted Taunton volvo. They didn’t have one. I then contacted Volvo corporate in Sweden and asked why they no longer make it and would they sell the moulds. They said no but gave me contacts to swedish breakers. They also didn’t have one.

Which dealer are you speaking to that can source one?

Yea my dealer was the one in taunton? So its a bit strange they said they couldnt get one.
