Volvo XC90 Integrated Running Boards Offer
Not sure if it's of any use to anyone, but I had an email from Volvo yesterday, offering the illuminated running boards for £1099 instead of £1350.
I'm not sure if this is a personal offer to me or if its to everyone, but if you're thinking of buying, then it might be worth enquiring now.

I had the same offer through and also the one relating to the free windscreen and puncture repairs which was (positive) news to me!
I have the boards already and would recommend to anyone with children and/or regularly needing to access the roof space. The added bonus of the boards are that the doors of normal sized cars (whatever that means now!) will make contact with them before your doors. |

They sound like they'd be great as I have kids and use a roof box. Not that often, but I do find accessing it difficult. But even £1100 is a bit too expensive for me at the moment.

If considering these I would recommend trying before buying. I know I'm an awkward old sod but for me they just get in the way and make entering and leaving the car difficult.

We have them on our xc90 as they were being fitted when we agreed the deal from the dealer.
They do make the car look really nice, especially on our black car which needs something to pop a bit! Its good for our 2 & 5 year old, but a real pain for me getting into and out of without getting my trousers dirty! It's really hard not to scrape it when entering. Best advice is find one with it and see if you like it. We're based just south of Guildford if you happened to be nearby 😊 If I had the choice I wouldn't pay for it having had it!
