Tank needs help!!!!!
Bought a 37k mile 1983 760 d24t saloon in California. After a 20 yr slumber changed engine oil, put in a battery and fuel, and it started on the first crank and sounded excellent! Her previous owner moved to Valhalla and couldn't take her garage queen with her. I have searched high and low for production info. Best i could find was it was first year sold in the US second half of the year. Even tried writing Volvo who politely told me to **** off. I'm curious if someone can give me production number for US imports for 1983. I'm trying to figure out how rare it is here. Cheers in advance for any assistance rendered. If you'll excuse me now, I have to get back to todays news comments sections to roast our MAGAt leader and his porn star wife. It's like a bad movie and every time you think it couldn't get worse, it does. I'd laugh myself to sleep, if I wasn't crying myself to sleep.

No idea about how rare it is, but over here it would be like rocking horse poo.
Now regarding the tangerine you have playing golf full time and playing president part time I just want people to know a few of the absolute thickest things he has said, the video below is well worth a watch. https://youtu.be/qv9sH5ptgRA |

I think I may have an electrical green book for this car... somewhere.
You will want to join the d24 list at tufts.edu, owners of 740 (and a few 240's) diesels, the 900's not making it across, perhaps someone there will have more on your car's provenance. Tom Bryant (thosbryant wordpress com) is a volvo diesel specialist, site definitely worth a visit. There's a blog from a chap called Ross Winberg posted many years ago -volvoturbodiesel blogspot com (.), but stiil up, useful on maintenance tips and entertaining in that lazy US style. Before you do anything else CHANGE THE BELT. jor

After using the military to deny citizens their constitutional rights,MAGAt was so stressed he had to pork Ivanka twice. She went home and whispered in Jared The Worm's ear, "You got nothin' on Daddy"
