The DAF 55 and earlier were the ones not to put on a brake tester as there was no differential in effect .
The 66 and 300 were ok , BUT the rollers would have to turn over both transmission units and the inertia of this would cause a few jerks as they came up to speed for those not expecting it , always chock the front wheels Probably best to use the Tapley decelleration meter for the MOT Brake test though.

Still want the GLT Ian?

In that case it should be obligatory for every daf in existence to vist the rolling road at least once a year

Enough Mate, you are getting boring now.

Please only post things that won't offend anybody.

I am a grown man and want to converse with the big-boys.

If I wanted child-like contributions, I would attend a kinder-garden, or play with my grandson when he arrives next March.

With Respect,

Ian.

That's kindergarten, actually, but let it pass.

Red face

Sorry SER!, but SPELIN is not my strong point.

My Grandson is in the oven on slow cook, but should be fully formed by March. I will do my best to make sure that his first ride in a CLASSIC CAR!!! is in a DAF.

Carefull pops, social services may well view subjecting a young child to a ride in a daffodil as serious abuse plus such a horrendous experience could scar the poor little sod for life
