Donington Grand Prix Collection Meet & Tour - Sunday 20th March



Sunday 20th March 2016 will see the return of VolvoTuning to Donington Park and its famous Grand Prix Collection…

The Donington Grand Prix Collection is the largest showcase of Grand Prix racing cars in the World including largest collection of McLaren and Williams racing cars and the only complete collection of Vanwalls.

Four halls, with over 130 exhibits, illustrate the history of motorsport from the turn of the 20th Century, where visitors can get up close to the cars actually driven by such famous names as Mansell, Nuvolari, Prost, Moss, Fangio and Stewart.

We’re also treated to view the famous Wheatcroft Military Collection. This 'never seen before in public' is a small collection of World War II vehicles includes tanks, cars, motorcycles, tracked vehicles and artillery…mostly things that came in green !!

The Brief

1) 10.00-10.30 Arrive at Donington GP Collection car park
2) 11.00-12.30 View GP Collection
3) 12.30-13.30. Lunch & Social. The GP collection has a Shop and Cafe
4) 13.30 VT Infamous Photoshoot with Millsy and his Ladders
5) 14.30 Return home

If you’re a fan of motorsport or just a regular petrolhead, this is certainly a meet not to be missed – certainly an attraction the whole family will enjoy regardless of the weather.

VolvoTuning are currently in talks with Donington to secure a discount on the current £12 Admission to the Collection…..we’ll keep you posted.

There is no doubt about it. Volvotuning arrange the most fantastic meets. This year alone, Vulcans and Lancasters, Oil can cafe, F1 museum.

Volvotuning the best meets in the uk. Now I'm getting better I'll see you there.
