Being a newbie here, I'd love to organise a Hants/Dorset area meet. I live on the Southampton side of the New Forest, so excellent area for pubs, big car parks, great background scenery to car photos etc...
Should i look into possible venues and see what response i get?

I'm in the same category as you, living a few miles south of Salisbury. Would be interested in a Hants/Dorset branch.

I host a meet at my local pub on behalf of the retrorides forum, we had out first one there this month and it was a success.
