Saw some good examples of the marque spanning the past six decades including two other 240's, a rather nice 245 with split rims, a fair sized turbo and a side exiting exhaust all ingredients that cant help but make you smile, the other 240 was another great grin machine, a rally prepared (and successfully ran) 'Penta' crank 2.5 K-jet (previously owned by the Swedish embassy).

As ever I am totally crap at getting names never mind remembering them, so apologies to all for lack of name drops.

Needless to say a grand day out.

Finally got back home at 02:15 after 879 miles, only cut out twice (traced down to a melted fuse on the in tank pump circuit (for some reason one of the previous owners wired the cigarette lighter into that, once that was sorted job done)).

Nice to see my beast amongst a cracking Silver 940 estate and a mint 760 Estate!

Was a nice line up with the estates and your saloon, I'd probably not go as far as to say that my 760 was mint but I appreciate your comments none the less
