Default Cheshire Classic Volvo Meet Sat 5th Dec

Hi All,

A few of us classic RWD Volvo owners are having a meet this Saturday in the South Manchester / Cheshire village of Marple. Its mainly 240s but a 740 and 850 are coming.

Please come along with your Classic Volvo, everyone is welcome.

We are meeting from around 11.30am and will be having a sandwich / pie etc in the pub for lunch.

It's at the Hare & Hounds, Dooley Lane, Marple, Cheshire SK6 7EJ. There's a great Garden Centre with nice café area directly opposite should anyone wish to drop of their Partner for a couple of hours if that helps...

Salut!

All Volvo's are welcome. I hear the pub will be open early for tea coffee etc etc. We have a table booked for lunch too.

Thumbs up

I was hoping to get along to the meet (either with the 855R or the 1800S) but the plumber was round this morning fixing my boiler and it turned out to be a much longer job than originally thought! Still, at least my boiler has been fixed!

No doubt Pookie will fill me in on the details in due course! I hope the meet went well.

Default Thank You.

Big thanks to all that turned up for todays Classic Volvo meet.
We had a selection that included 240s, 850s 740, 940 and Saab 96v4. The Hare and Hounds served up a great lunch and special mention for Jay Jay for arranging everything.
Hopefullly some pictures will be added later. Thanks again, hope you boys from Yorkshire and Wales got home safe and sound.
