Default Radio and 12 v sockets not working

Hello,
I had an issue after I loaded my boot on my 2004 S80 D5 with some heavy stone.
I was informed that there is a sensor in the rear which senses weight or a trailer attached. This is connected to a relay in the engine compartment. I do not have a tow bar and the radio and 12 v sockets came back on when the car was unloaded. However the radio has been intermittent with power supply and finally failed today completely. Having checked all fuses and earths it could only be one thing the relay. So I had it replaced today at a garage after I told them what the issue was. it cost £4 and a £10 for labour.
I have seen lots of questions asking about this issue on the web and thought I would just share my story. It is the same for all Volvo's 2000 onwards.
