S60 N/S Rear Light Cluster

Hi Everyone

Sadly some mindless idiots threw a large block of curb stone through my drivers side window in a car park on Saturday night and also broke the rear light. Autoglass are looking to fix the window costing me £75 excess on insurance but just discovered all other damage including rear light has a £300 excess on it.

Any tips to help replace the rear light please as I also stop work this week and could do without this problem? Does the whole light need to be replaced or is the outer plastic cover separate from the light cluster?

Found a used light for £80 on ebay for the same year (04) T5, would this fit a D5 too? Is this good value?

A very late reply but felt very sad to hear that some skum bag wanted to vandalise your car. Its sickening!!! A used light cluster for £80 sounds expensive but if its cheaper than a new one and you save a considerable amount of money and the one you intend to buy is almost as good the other side then you have two that match for less cost of a new one and potentially making your car look odd or un-even... I hope the interior never got damaged?? Smash proof windows as an optional extra would give 007 a run for his money. Best of luck
