2016 V40 driver window control non-working

VOC Members: There is no login facility using your VOC membership number or the details from page 3 of the club magazine. You need to register in the normal way
AOL Customers: Make sure you check the 'Remember me' check box otherwise the AOL system may log you out during the session. This is a known issue with AOL.

volvomaxv40 New Member Last Online: May 2nd, 2023 09:40 Join Date: Apr 2023 Location: Edinburgh	2016 V40 driver window control non-working Have recently purchased V40 with decent 52k miles on 2.0d2. However from start the window control module was not working. The central door locking block works all good, but the block which control external mirrors and windows does not work at all. Have bought a second hand one on ebay which was tested, still does not work. Have tried multimeter voltage, shows around 17-19 volts on ends of the blue contact. Completely puzzled. Having had 6 volvos previously and having restored '63 spitfire I am not newbie to this, but completely puzzled. Any help, suggestions, hints would be greatly appreciated. Door windows work fine on all other doors, central locking works as it should, everything else is fine in the car.
