If its rears you want I did a KYB conversion on mine and a few customers cars and have never had a complaint! Just remember that the stud for the spring mount is part expired now so you would need to make your own out of a standard stud if you change the springs at the same time, the top rubber spring seats and washers are now part expired too. I literally had the last a few weeks back, so be careful when you strip it down.

Ditto to Griston64’s suggestion for Bilstein B4’s
Got front and rear as the link indicated a couple of months ago, fitted rears and ride quality is very good, still got fronts to fit in refurbished front struts, when I get time……/ Also the suggestion to source new top fixing stud and nut is worthwhile, mine were rusted solid. Cheers Steve |

hi i got the spring stud and nut from brook house volvo the other day .the nut is not the deep original one its a standard flanged nut but sure it will fit i may need to cut the stud down a little bit or get a deep 15mm socket i think

Don’t cut it Jim, if you do you will struggle with fitting. Do you want a pair of original nuts? I have a brand new pair I bought for a customers car but for some reason didn’t fit.
