Very excited for this and adding google is a much needed change!

The configurator is also live on the global Volvo website:

There are new colours and some smart exterior changes. It has to be a Thunder Grey T8 for me

Cant see a lot of difference really apart from Google. Also looks as if they have split the rear seat 40:20:40 which is a good thing. No mention of wireless CarPlay
Will have to wait and see until the Uk spec is announced

It would be great if they've re-instated the 40:20:40 rear seat - just need them to bring back the folding passenger seat and parking ticket holder next.

This is what Volvo has posted re seats, which gives the impression that its 40:20 40
Five individual seats

Interesting Google in the XC60 before the XC90. Would have expected the top model in the range to get Google ahead of the XC60. Or perhaps too near to the launch of the new SPA platform on the XC90 to be worth doing the change, whereas I expect the current XC60 has a few years left in it before getting a full redesign.

It doesn't surprise me at all. The XC60 is Volvo's best selling model. It's the pretty boy of Volvo cars.

Definitely this. It was lagging vs its competitors that have recently been updated so now having google etc. will keep it in the mix.
