940/740 diff in 240.

Quick look but could not find any thing. I am taking this as a no but..
would LSD from 740/940 bolt up in the 240.

It's pretty much a yes. There's oodles of info if you google "G80 in a 240"

You have to shorten one of the driveshafts and if the donor car had ABS the 48 tooth tone ring of the 740/940 won't work with your 240 which has 12, unless you have a 240 with ABS.

I have a G80 if you're looking btw

The LSD is very rare especially with a tone ring for a speedo. The G80 locker is much more common.

The lash on the CWP needs to be setup correctly

Thank you. I know of a chap who has lots of 7/9 bricks. Hoping one will have what I need.
