Default FS: 3x Tethys Volvo 17" alloy wheels with tyres

Due to a faulty locking wheel nut, I had to cut off one of my wheels. So I bought a different set, which means these are surplus to requirements.

They are all in good condition with minimal ware and tear as you would expect. The tyres are all usable, although one is on it's legal limit.

I'm happy to split or sell together.

I'm based in the Bristol/Bath area and collection is preferred. I also work in Salisbury once a week and happy to meet someone along that route.

If you're really keen I can look into delivery costs, but these will be on you.

Asking £60 per wheel ono.

£160 for all three ono.

Give me a shout if you have any questions.

Wheel 1

Wheel 2

Wheel 3

I know, it wasn't a decision taken lightly. But when the locking wheel nuts on the back wheels broke I paid hundreds of pounds for a garage to try and get the wheels off. They tried drilling the nuts, but went through several drill bits and hours of trying with no success. They tried welding a nut onto it to use as grip, but that failed too. So in the end they had to cut a wheel off the back and I still had to pay them for all the time they spent trying different options.

So when the wheel nut broke on the front, I decided just to bite the bullet and get straight to cutting the wheel off. I got a good deal in a set of four wheels with decent tyres, so it was the cheapest option.

Still a pain in the backside though. I would recommend anyone with fairly old Volvo locking wheel nuts to replace them ASAP.

I had exactly the same thing a few years back with a frontera. Dealer tried for hours to get the locking nut off without success, they suggested taking a gas axe to the wheel, f##k that says me. Anyway popped to a local tyre centre who took the locknut off in about 5 mins. Guess I was lucky. Since then I don't bother with them.
