Default Reverse camera installation

Hi folks,

Just back from our annual jaunt to Florida and once again hired a car with a reverse camera fitted. Something I have considered here so time to finds out if it can be done I guess.

I have a 2016 v40 r-design. It doesn't have the "globe" sign on the dash that some seems to be required.

Is there a volvo recognised, or made, camera that I can get installed? If so where?

I am in Glasgow so fairly local would be good.

Thanks

Stewart

I had one fitted on my XC60 by the Volvo dealer when I bought it 5 years ago. About ££650 but worth every penny and particularly useful when hitching up the caravan.

I would expect it also be possible on your car.

There is a company called Volvotech who do kits so you may also be able to get one from them to fit yourself.

How did this go?
Also, what's the bit about the globe you mentioned? How does this effect retrofitting parts?
