Hi, I am new here and had well working Vida/Dice on my laptop for several months and somehow suddenly I can΄t connect Dice anymore, so I install several fresh copies of Windows 7 ultimate 32/64bit but nothing happened. Finally I left Ultimate 64bit, set the laptop like my pc, updates and everything, I use it for movies, browsing and everything. Finally, after a few months, today I got mad and decide to fix Vida/Dice no mather what. And I run on the solution on first page with change the registry settings and...what can I say.....Thank You all good men od the internet for such a great and unselfish advices, videos and Forums!! Cheers everybody!!

I was looking to get a Dice unit myself, can you reset the adaptions on the gearbox and oil counter?

Does anyone have a current link to a good seller of the unit?

Thank you.

Try Cheshired5 on here. He usually has some units plus laptop for sale.

Can this only work on a Windows 7 pro software, as I upgraded from 7 to 10 a while ago on both my laptop and desktop?

I am aware of running software on W10 using a compatibility mode, anyone used this to get it working on W10?

Thanks

Hi all,

I've had VIDA 2014D working on my Linx 1010B for the last year natively on windows 10, however, Microsoft being Microsoft have done what they do best and broken it with the latest big update.

Went to use it today and got a message saying 'Object doesn't support property or method 'DiagnosticAllowed' and the box to select the DICE tool is not showing properly (see image).

Anyone know how to sort this? It's only small storage wise so I can't revert back to the previous version as it didn't have the space for it.

Thanks for any help, currently downloading Windows 10 ISO preparing for a wasted weekend rebuilding the machine again

the problem with VIDA is a lot of the info isnt updated as the cars get facelifted. For example the S60 changes in 2005 and the brakes are different but even when using VIN, VIDA still shows the old style brake info. This is what dealers are using to work on your car --- wrong info!! FML

Hopefully handy to know for the future.

Surely the Dealers would be using updates to their software?
Although, i am a bit surprised that the vida 2014 we have does not have included changes for 2005 cars, else whats the point as you say. Think of me though, i have 2014 with a DB error for parts side of things so i have to use 2011 lol
