Performance Meet

I'm particularly impressed with the feedback I've had from you all, especially those who are travelling long distance to the meeting. I'm looking forward to meeting everybody on the 5th at the Crooked Billet.

Hi Iain...

Im looking forward to the meet-will be my first official Volvo one! Have a couple of questions...

1-What time should i expect it to finish, and what sort of thing goes on?

2-Is it a well known place for all sorts of cars to meet, or is this just a Volvo one? And if this is a universal one, is there a dedicated space for Volvo's? I don't want to be stuck up the other end of this place miles away from the other Volvo's and next to some pillok in a Nova ;)!

Dan, this is the second meet that I have organised. The first meet a few weeks ago was quite successful with people attending from Leicestershire, Portsmouth and Devon and more localy. The meet is for people to get together and look at each others cars, have something to eat and drink and talk performance Volvos. The pub is ideal because of its central location close to the M25 and M40. Sunday will be a meet just for Volvos - no other car clubs will be there as far as I know!

People are coming from the Midlands and the Bristol area. The meet probably won't go on past 3pm as there is only so much that you can talk about! - it all depends on individuals.
