Default Damn Leather Doors!!! :(

Hi,
I was cleaning my car the other day (Only had it for a month) and i notices some weird dents/scrapes in the leather on the side of the door close to the lock? I felt the seals to see if it was any metal behind that causing the dents but couldn't feel anything. I looked on all the other doors and they are all pretty similar.
But jumping out of my car the other day (in a rush) the seat belt was caught in the door and left yet another mark, a considerable one now.
Does anyone else have this problem or any remedies, other than carefull door closing? I was wondering about getting some sort of heat moulding plastic to put up the side, the type of stuff you get from the boy racer mags, yeah i know embarrasing isn't it!!

Thanks.

Yes, I had the same problem with my V70 and the door panel ended up with a couple of nasty scrapes. Doesn't seem to happen with my C70 - maybe I'm just more careful or perhaps the lower seat belt anchor is the answer, although that's not much help to you, I guess.

Is it the drivers door ? If so, I have a brand new boxed interior panel which I got for my S70 but never fitted. It is dark grey in colour & can be yours for £50 + P&P.

Let me know if any good.

Cheers,

John.
