I think the issue with the 940 market is there are so many people listing at 4k etc now that people think the cars are worth that. They’re simply not at the moment, and the £4K ones sit on car and classic etc etc for months but Derek who would have normally stuck his car on for a grand now looks on car and classic and sees some traders have had their cars on a 4K and says ‘Muriel, the 940 is worth at least £4K’

There’s a guy selling a 740 turbo that I really want and I’ve been trying to get him down on price for it but he insists it’s worth what he’s asking. I told him that the fact it’s been for sale for 8 months would potentially suggest it’s not but fair play to him, he’s holding out.

Values are only going one way though so a good decision to keep hold of it.

I still love this car and pat its rump every time I walk past it Now I know that realistically nobody else sees any value in its embassy history, I feel better about making some changes, so yes, I'll be doing a few mods over time.
