Well the compression test came back fine.
Cyl 1,2,3 &5 are 180 psi with Cyl4 slightly lower at 170 psi. Swapped lpg injectors round again and still the missfire persists on cyl2 so i'll go check the connections again. I did cure the cutting out on petrol however - the pick up pipe had fallen off inside the tank and somehow kinked the pipes. |

Another possible.
The ESGI ECU can sometimes loose a channel. As you have 6 channels try taking cyl 2 off and using channel 6 for it |

Sadly the ecu just throws an error when swapping cyl2 with cyl6 injector plugs.

You need to swap the pickup wires also or it can not work. just plugging in no6 to the gas injector can not work on its own!

I did...
Ecu wires for cyl6 connections were plugged onto cyl 2 injectors. Info for the cyl6 wires was only picked up by the software when the software was altered from 5 to a 6 cylinder engine, but then it expected all 6 injectors to fire so threw an error as cyl2 was obviously missing. |

Can you turn the diagnostics off on the ECU?

It doesn't appear so in the version 4 software i have.
I've checked the wiring again and can't find any loose contacts, breaks etc. so it would appear the ecu is at fault as you suggest. I'll give the supplier a call in the morning as see about getting a replacement under warranty. |

It need not be the ECU but worth trying.
I know an installer near you that fits ESGI so he might be able to help out. |
