Default v60 what is this bit??

Hi all, new to me v60 owner after an xc60, cleaning round the boot and found this just behind/under the drivers side rear seat, can't think what it is to even try to search for it, I am hoping one of you good folks will put me out of my misery!
hopefully the pic will show it well enough.
Many thanks in advance

Whiplash prevention or seatbelt pre-tensioner?

It doesn't seem to be very tightly attached, and there is nothing in the end of it?
If its whiplash related I can't see how it would work? I will check the parts catalogue for that and see
any other ideas?

It is the seatbelt for middle passenger. I believe The long bit is the pretensioner.

it is the explosive seat belt pre-tensioner , It explodes and shoots a cable down the pipe which winds the belts in tight to hold you in your seat when there is an accident .

Thanks so much, was driving me nuts trying to figure out what it was!
mine seem to be a bit loose where it bolts to the frame, is this normal or do I need to tighten it?
