Default '94 850 T5 brake master cylinder

Seems the brake master cylinder has failed on my 1994 850 T5.

I press the brake pedal and can push it all the way to the floor - the brake fluid level in the reservoir is not going down so no leaks.

Anyone else come across this - car has just covered over 100.000 miles..... but I guess stuff wears out.

Posting in case anyone else has come across this and can confirm my diagnostic (can't see it being anything else),

... and anyone replaced one of these? Haynes manual states it is a matter of unbolting the master, disconnecting the pipes and off it comes but mentions that early models need to have servo replaced too

How can I tell if mine is one of them? (sod's law it is).

Number cast into the master is 9140448.
