Ok I've been at the yard,
I found a '96 850 I took out the panel (p/n 9134819) and the fan speed control (p/n 9134932) from. The panel PCB is slightly different from my original one, it hasn't the five transistors and condensers on it. But it should be ok, just more recent. So, should I go through some reprogramming if I change the panel? The speed fan control PCB has also a slightly different design from my one... FCP Groton lists different part numbers for '94 and '96 with auto climate, so maybe I should go for a new control as well, and not try this on. The blower WORKS, it's not seized; but I think it draws more current than it should, because it's not in a good shape, it'a very dusty and dirty. I'll get a new one, maybe the Behr assembly from FCP, is it any good? |
