Volvo tool 9995205 crankshaft seal puller
Volvo has discontinued this tool for pulling out the crankshaft seal on the Audi D5252t engine.
Does anyone have one for sale or any recommendations for an equivalent tools? Thanks |

Do you mean the front one by the oil pump?
If so I just pick the old one out with a small screwdriver or similar. |

I have tried that
I tried with screwdriver.
I tried drilling two holes and screwing two screws in and pulling them with a home made extractor.. they just pulled out... Tried with bigger screws, same... I tried with a cheap seal puller off ebay, it broke... |

I've never had a problem and always managed to just prise them out.I would just cut it out if I ever found one stuck as your describing.

Found one
Got one off ebay from Germany. Wasn't cheap.
Works a treat, did actually need a fair bit of force to get the old seal out. New seals, I did two cars, just pushed in by hand... |
