XC70 Grille??

Hi all....

When we were at the most recent PE day, I noticed that there was a laser blue AWD with a different grille in it. It looks far better than the "Wimp-like" stock offering on these cars!

Could someone please confirm the model that this would be from and a rough guide on price for the part as I fancy swapping mine over!

Ian,

I did this swap last autumn. The grill to which you refer is the stock 'egg-crate' grill from a V70 XC. Swapping it is easy :-)(one of the few car jobs I tackled myself); and the purchase price was c£140 inc. VAT from my local dealer. Ask for a 1999 one - these have the blue bit in the badge on the front whereas the pre '99 models had just a black and white badge. I gave my old grill to my Dad for his '98 S70 T5.

So you didn't notice my red C70 with the BIG exhaust and the same grill then????

Just ask for the '03 MY C70 grill. This will fit all the earlier x70 cars. Not 850s though.

Sorry Dan. I most certainly did notice your red C70 with that HUGE exhaust!! Very nice indeed and some good figures off the RR I seem to remember! Am afraid that I didn't notice the grille though!! Nice car........

yeah it was Mine as Dan said its also from a C70 03 grill cost to ruddy much lol
