Default xc70 now chipped

A few weeks ago I asked for advice regarding chipping an xc70 and was very pleased by the helpful responses I got. Since then I have had the car chipped, I went for a sport chip from Chip Tuning in Bromsgrove. First impressions are very good, slightly longer turbo lag but when it arrives - wow.

It has transformed the car from van like to reasonable performance. Two days later the engine management light came on along with an instruction to get a service and the turbo boost has gone - argh. I have called Chip Tuning who offered to see the car the same day so top service but I must admit to being a bit depressed. Pretty sure it is a re-occurence of a previous fault sorted under warranty where the solenoid failed. Fingers crossed it will be put right 16 May and I will be back to zooming around.
