When I looked at Marks Scandix link, (now I may have read it wrong) but at the top it does say 18 euro, but lower down it says 30.64 euro, when I went into their postage cost it says 22 euro 52.64 euro in total, about £47.62, but like I say I may have read it wrong, same thing at Polar Parts £38.37 free postage.

Check your email David, i've just explained the difference.

For anyone else, the one down the bottom is the genuine Volvo one being sold by Skandix, the top one is a pattern part.

CAFFYNS have the brake light switch part number 9128577 for £27.36 + £4.95 postage, but they list it for the V40 & S40, but yet the same part number, I'm waiting for a reply from them. but will look at Clive Brook, David

Contacted Clive Brooks, similar price £29 + £5 postage.

I think it's also the same part for 850's as well so could well be right

That means Caffyns have only listed a small amount of what it fits. I could get a similar list from Volvopartswebstore but that is a USA site and the USA didn't get the 940 after 1995 (as far as i can work out because it didn't have a proper OBD system) so the 940 would be missing from the list.
